“Edward, Bella, we’re home!”
Edward ran down the stairs to go see Carlisle. I ran behind him trying not to make eye contact.  Once again I heard noises coming from Edward’s head but also Carlisle’s and Esme’s head.  It was making my head pound.  I wished it would all stop; and then they stopped.
“Hi Carlisle. Um…it happened again…” I was looking at my feet.
“Oh dear! Are you ok?” Esme wrapped me in a hug.
“Yea I’m fine, but I don’t know what to do.” I gave her a hug back.
“Ok Bella, so when did you find out about your power?” Carlisle made sure to clear all his thoughts so it didn’t kill my head. Esme and Edward did the same.
“Um…about 12 in the afternoon…was the first time…the second time was about 5.” I was trying to avoid saying something.
“And what were you doing before that happened?”
The exact thing I wanted to avoid. “Um…”
“We were in my room together.” Edward spoke up.
Carlisle nodded. “I see…Bella did this happen before, after, or during…you two were together?” He seemed a little uncomfortable to be asking this kind of question.
“Well before and then after…” I was just as uncomfortable maybe more.
“I see. Bella will you follow me into my office please?” Carlisle went up to his office.
Edward seemed to be used to reading minds but why wasn’t I? He didn’t have headaches, or did he? But if he did he must be used to it by now, right? I couldn’t tell but I followed Carlisle up to his office with Edward close behind me.

“Ok Bella. I’m going to give you a basic check up except I’m not taking things you don’t need.” He brought out everything he needed.
Edward sat in a chair across the room watching with worry in his eyes. “Um…Carlisle is she going to be ok?”
“Yes, but I want to make sure everything is ok.” Carlisle finished up with what he needed. “Ok well Bella I don’t know what to tell you. Everything looks fine. You just might need some time to adjust. If you need anything Esme and I are here and when Emmett and Rosalie come back from hunting they will be here for you also.” He turned to Edward, “do you know where Jasper and Alice are?”
Edward’s eyes went dark and blank and then he shock his head, “yes, Alice had a vision of this happening to Bella so they are on there way. I think they went to Africa so that’s why its taking them so long.”
“I see.” He turned back to me. “Ok well Bella I must go to work. Hope you fell better.”

“Edward?”
Edward came over to me and kissed me on the head, “yes, love?”
“When you started to hear voices did you ever have headaches?”
“Not that I remember. But I might have.” He smiled at me my favorite crocked smile.
“Thanks.”
He kissed me once more before Alice burst threw the door. “Bella! Are you ok?”
I laughed a little, “Yea, I’m fine. How are you?”
“Bella are you sure? You looked like you were in pain in my vision.” She looked over at Edward and then back at me. Her mind was blank. I now know how he felt when he couldn’t figure out what anyone was thinking but then I remembered that I could change her mind so that she could show me. I wish I could see her vision and then it came up.
It was very graphic. I could see the pain lines in my neck. I first thought that it might have been from when I was changing but then I noticed that I was already pale. I was laying on mine and Edward’s bed and I was screaming in pain.
I looked over at her, “Alice when did you have this vision?”
Alice shrugged, “yesterday and I got here as fast as I could.”
“I see.”
“Alice I don’t think that was from Bella’s headaches.” Edward grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.
“Then what do you think it was then?”
“I’m not sure but that doesn’t look like a painful headache. It looks more painful.”
